Why is it that main dealers charge over the top for servicing ? I needed a 10,000 mile service … which was basically just an oil change and oil filter!
Yamaha quoted me £256.70 ?? When I asked them what it consisted of, they said “Oil, Oil filter, air filter” and I said “err what else?” to which they replied “we check for tightness, lube and give it a once over” hmm … no thaks. Considering I have a K&N I don’t need an air filter, so just oil and filter it is … for £38 direct from Yamaha!
One hour later, and my bike was fully ‘serviced’ with an oil change …. how can main dealers get away with daylight robbery!!
