I’m starting up a Workshop section on the site …………. a place where you can find a pictorial guide on how to carry out common tasks on our bike such as, change the cans, brake pads etc etc ………
Stay tuned for the new area that is under development!
Well, I was in two minds about this at first ….. but then decided it was at least good for when I was arranging ride outs, people could follow on Twitter.
Follow me @ twitter.com/SatanR1
It seemed that during a recent upgrade of the website blog, the downloads would not work for registered users.
This has now been fixed, so feel free to download!
Back up, back up, back up …. it’s what I would always advise to anyone. Can you trust your hardware for those memories you could never replace? or the important office documents that took you hours to complete? Well it’s good to have an external drive as storage, however having a secured online storage can be very beneficial.
After extensive research, I found the answer; Livedrive
Never run out of storage space again!
Access and store your files easily using FTP.
Works like a normal hard drive.
Manage your photo albums with Livedrive’s new Facebook integration.
Edit and create Office documents via the web to get full power of Microsoft Office from anywhere and with no need to install software or purchase licenses.
Livedrive is the only online hard drive in the world that allows you to access your files even when your computer isn’t connected to the Internet.
You can get 100GB of secure online storage for under £40 a year ….. that’s just 75p a week!
I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now and I’m very impressed, why don’t you give it a try? If you don’t like it within 30 days you can get your money back !

If you were in the market for a wearable high-def camcorder for this year’s snowboarding season just-ended (and, after all, who wasn’t?!) then this week’s announcement of the world’s first HD headware couldn’t have come at a worse time.
After all, the snow has all melted and you are going to have to wait all the way through to Winter 2009/2010 until you can properly try out Twenty20’s second-generation ContourHD wearable headcam out on the piste, capturing your mates’ dream method air in high def glory (and, more amusingly, his twenty-eight bail-outs beforehand…)
Better quality video
Twenty20’s YouTube-friendly wearable camcorder is of course just the ticket for all types of extreme sports, as well as more sedate, less extreme pastimes – if you just wanted to make a nice movie of your morning commute, for example (although your fellow Tube or bus passengers might give you some funny looks…).
Twenty20 claims to have ’seriously improved’ the video quality, field of view, memory capacity and audio experience of its ContourHD.
The latest version saves your extreme/embarrassing commute movies on a microSD card (up to 16GB which equates to 8 hours of recording time) and features a 135-degree wideangle lens and laser-guided alignment system.
So, who is going to start the donations first so that I can upgrade to what one these bad boys?
Well the bike is 3 years old in June, so as we all know an MOT was due!
I’ve been so busy lately that getting to a decent MOT garage has been a nightmare. I rang a mate who got back to me and said “I’ve found this place in Nelson Street who seem really decent, give them a call” So, on that note I gave Gregg and Stuart from Kickstart Rider Training Limited a call on 0207 790 8137 and I was booked in for an MOT within 2 hours!
I rode down to 46 Nelson Street, E1 where these guys are based and within the hour my bike was all finished with a fresh years MOT. The bike sailed through without any problems. I wasn’t able to meet Gregg, however Stuart who does the MOT’s and is a biker himself was there, decent bloke who obviously has a passion for bikes!
+1 Recommendations goto them, give them a call they also do servicing and rider training too!
Well I was reading one of many magazine I subscribe to when I happened to be reading through RiDE Magazine. I noticed a page where readers could send in there own picture, naturally I oblijed!
Two months later, and I have July’s copy of RiDE Magazine in my hand when I noticed a very familiar looking bike!!
With the annoying flies and ants everywhere, summer is almost here!
I’m really busy for the next week or so, but after that there should be some fresh new videos uploaded online!
Enjoy the sun!
The “No To the Bike Parking Tax” videos are now online.
Either check our youtube page or click on the ‘videos’ option above.
Enjoy …..
I have some new Burnham Bends footage and also the ‘No to Bike Tax’ protest that was on last night (11-05-09) I’m just editing them all then will upload to youtube!
Watch this space …..
There has been some recent news that means a big change has happened in the catering industry in the UK. One of the largest and best chicken restaurants, KFC is nowserving Halal food in eight of it’s London stores.
I have personally visited the store and can confirm that it’s the ‘real deal’ and certainly still has the secret finger lickin’ good taste.
The branches that serve Halal chicken and do NOT sell bacon are :
* Lea Bridge Road – E10 7DN
* Edmonton – N18 2XA
* Hounslow West – TW4 7DJ
* Upton Park – E13 0AR
* Forest Gate – E7 8BA
* Bethnal Green – E2 0AH
* Tottenham Hale – N17 9FR
More information can be found here : http://www.kfc.co.uk/about-kfc/halal
I’d just like to say thanks to the people that visit here, and the support you guys give my blog.
This month has been the most impressive with just under 50K hits!
Roll on the good weather so that more videos can be published!
Thanks!
I should have checked the bandwidth really ….. as this blog becomes more popular I have to increase the server bandwidth!
Deep joy
On that note, where has the sun gone? If someone sees him, can you tell him to come back please!
Well Riders of the Wind went out for another group ride, Burnham on Crouch, Essex for some Brunch!
Some of the bikes include, R1, Hayabusa, Triumph Sprint, SV650, Pan European, Honda CBR 400. Enjoy!
Well the turnout was brilliant! Good to see loads of bikers all supporting a good cause!
Southend Shakedown 2009 is on for tomorrow (Monday 13th April 2009)
Every year bikers from across the UK meet up and ride to Southend for charity. This year it’s for the NSPCC.
I’ll be joining the bikers at the Moby Dick on the A12, if anyone wants to join just let me know!
Well, seeing as I couldn’t go out for a ride today (family commitments) I decided I would wash the bike instead!
My mate joined me with his newly purchased CBR 600 RR …. don’t they look pretty!
I came across this ’smart’ car with the big tall CCTV pole on top that you see nowadays patrolling the mean streets of London.
What pissed me off about this is that they have the cheek to park on DOUBLE YELLOW LINES and record motorists who stop on the BOX JUNCTION then subsequently issue them with penalty notice??
They were parked up here : http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=forest+view+E11&sll=51.570662,0.01575&sspn=0.004301,0.015235&ie=UTF8&ll=51.571148,0.015428&spn=0.008922,0.03047&z=16&iwloc=addr
Maybe the local council can give us some answers!
Well, it was sunny and dry …. what more could a biker ask for?
Short ride to the Ace cafe for some Tea.
Here is the first footage for ‘09 ………… plenty more to come!
